My name is Aubrey. I’m a freshman at Regis University in Denver Colorado. Just recently my boyfriend and I were having a discussion about faith and what we believe. I came from a very diverse, open-door, loving faith in God and he came from a very structured Catholic background. One of our disagreements was on the subject of how to get into heaven. I believed that the way to get into heaven was to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. And that even if we were to sin over and over again and even if we were to commit the most socially-immoral sin that as long as we are saved by God, that we will get into heaven. He believes that as long as we live a good life and are good people we will go to heaven. I was unsure of how to respond to that because it seemed like the most outrageous response to me. I googled “how to get into heaven” about 30 minutes ago, and everything on this site seemed so entirely accurate. When we have this discussion again (which I’m sure we will), I’ll make sure to enlighten him on what I’ve learned from your website. That “Jesus is not A WAY; but THE WAY”.
